Terry Grossman, MD -- President and Secretary
Dr. Grossman lives in Denver, CO. He graduated from the University of Florida, School of
Medicine in 1979 and is certified by the American Board of Chelation Therapy, American
Holistic Medical Board, American Board of Clinical Medical Toxicology, and the American
Board of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Dr. Grossman has served as Medical Director for the Granby Medical Center from, 1980-1993;
Provenant Health Systems, from 1993-95 and Frontier Medical Institute, 1995-present. His
appointments have included: Medical Advisor, East Grand County School District, 1980-95;
Medical Advisor, YMCA of the Rockies, 1980-95; Physician Supervisor, Rocky Mountain Planned
Parenthood, 1980-90; Assistant Professor, Department of Family Practice, University of Colorado
Health Sciences Center, 1984-present; Medical Advisory Board, Alcor Life Extension Foundation,
2000-present; Medical Advisory Board, Balance Dermaceuticals, 2000-present; Medical Advisor,
Unigen Pharmaceuticals, 2002- present.
Ray Kurzweil -- President, Kurzweil Technologies
Described as "the restless genius" by the Wall Street Journal, and "the ultimate thinking
machine" by Forbes, Ray has been included by PBS as one of 16 "revolutionaries who made
America," along with other inventors of the past two centuries.
As one of the leading inventors of our time, Ray was the principal developer of the first
CCD flat-bed scanner, the first omni-font optical character recognition, the first
print-to-speech reading machine for the blind, the first text-to-speech synthesizer, the
first music synthesizer capable of recreating the grand piano and other orchestral instruments,
and the first commercially marketed large-vocabulary speech recognition.
Among Ray's many honors, he is the recipient of the $500,000 MIT-Lemelson Prize, the world's
largest for innovation. In 1999, he received the National Medal of Technology, the nation's
highest honor in technology, from President Clinton in a White House ceremony. And in 2002,
he was inducted into the National Inventor's Hall of Fame , established by the US Patent Office.
He has received fifteen honorary Doctorates and honors from three U.S. presidents. Ray has written
five books, four of which have been national best sellers.
Seymour Z. Sundell, MD
Dr. Sundell obtained his undergraduate degree at The University of Virginia (1963-1967) and
medical degree at The Medical College of Virginia (1967-1971). He then completed a rotating
Psychiatric Internship at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, D.C. and a Psychiatric Residency
at The University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver.
After specialty training in Forensic Psychiatry at the Colorado State Hospital, Dr. Sundell
was with The Department of Safety in Denver from 1976 to 2001. He served as the Medical
Director for the Department for over 10 years, and was a Chief Forensic Consultant to the
Colorado State Hospital. Dr. Sundell also maintained a private practice restricted to Forensic
Psychiatry until his retirement in 2001.
Paul Dragul, MD
Medical doctor for over 40 years and an individual who has served on a number of other
boards of directors and who provides consulting advice to other doctors and organizations
in connection with medical and medical research matters.
Michael A. Catalano, MD
Dr. Catalano lives in Boulder, Colorado. He graduated Yale Medical School in 1972, and has
received professional certifications in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Sports Medicine.
He has authored over 30 medical/scientific research articles in refereed journals, including
several clinical research studies on patient populations.
Dr. Catalano spent nine years as a pharmaceutical industry executive, supervising the design,
implementation and reports of numerous clinical trials of several drugs, including Estraderm,
Voltaren, Cataflam and Kineret. He has worked as a physician at Frontier Medical Institute in
Golden, CO since 2005.
Ardis L Hoffman
Ms. Hoffman graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1983 with a Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration. Her professional experience includes 5 years working for a 501(c)3 Community
Health Center as Finance Director with a 4 million dollar annual budget. She has been working
with Dr. Grossman as the Practice Manager since 2004.
